Our subsidiary, PUR seating, has been expanding and has recently moved into new facilities with higher production and storage capacity.
PUR seating is our polyurethane foam shell manufacturer. We established it three years ago in partnership with the Italian company, Essepieffe, which has been active in this field for over 30 years and is a leading European polyurethane products manufacturer. Thanks to our cooperation with Essepieffe we have access to a unique know-how, which helps us to make products of the highest quality.
Our new 1,000m² production shop is fitted with the latest technology. At the moment, we have three polyurethane foaming machines and we are planning to add more in the future. Each detail of our production line from central cooling to individual mould heaters is designed to ensure consistent quality of our products.
Our new storage premises are situated in a 1,300m² hall. That allows us to efficiently store input materials and finished products, which further contributes to improvements in logistics and to general continuity of the production process.
At PUR seating, we can foam even complicated shapes and fine-tune the softness of the shells. Every shell can be adapted to be as comfortable for the customer as possible. For example, we know that for some upholstery it is necessary to use a softer shell while for some other a harder one is needed. We are also planning to use more eco-friendly, biodegradable foaming mixtures.
Because we can foam the corpuses ourselves, our logistics and supply processes have become simpler. As a result, we are more environment-friendly since we do not need to bring material regularly from other places. So, some of our seating furniture, such as the NIDO or the MELODY MEETING, is made completely in our Boskovice facilities.
Thanks to our knowledge of cutting-edge technologies, our employees’ experience and the increase in our production capacity, we can make foamed products not only for ourselves but also for other companies that are looking for high quality and do not want to use mass production.
